Two oceans, one story

Which one we leave behind is still up to us.

In the stillness of the ocean, a dolphin mother glides effortlessly, her calf nestled by her side. Sunlight filters through the water, painting their bodies in shimmering blue.

Swim a little further and the colour fades. Here lies another mother — her belly swollen not with life, but with plastic. This is the duality our generation faces, carried quite literally in the palm of your hand.

If you dream of a peaceful abode, if you dream of being heard, if you dream of dancing with dolphins — wear echos of home.

The Silent Code — a watercolour poem card for Echos of Home, its verses separated by rules of dots and dashes

The Silent Code

A secret place, written down.

Before the whistle had a shape it had a text. The Silent Code is the piece’s written companion — about quieting the mind, listening to your own breath, and the connection that needs no voice to carry.

Look at the rules between its verses: dots and dashes. The same alphabet the whistle speaks when a voice cannot reach.

Function

Not just a pendant — a safety instrument.

Emergency signal

Loud enough to attract attention in a distress situation, on the water or off it.

Breath control

Mute the tapered edge with your thumb to add resistance and steady your breathing before a dive.

Morse communication

Short and long tones carry over distances where a voice can’t — cover the exit hole to shape the rhythm.

Emotional echo

A water whistle tuned to mimic the call of a dolphin — worn as a reminder, not just a tool.

Independently tested

The plating is measured, not just described.

Both finishes are sent out for assay. Thickness is measured by X-ray fluorescence against a written specification — these are the actual reports for our production pieces.

Assay report for the 925 silver white-plated pendant, batch 0024079853, showing 93.00% purity with palladium at 0.288 and rhodium at 0.151 micrometres
925 Silver, rhodium plated Purity 93.0% against a 92.5 standard. Rhodium 0.151µm where 0.05µm is specified — three times the minimum. Batch 0024079853, tested to ISO 3497.
Plating thickness results for the brass yellow and white dolphin pendants, both marked pass
Brass, both finishes Gold 0.62µm against 0.2µm specified; rhodium 0.068µm against 0.05µm. Both pass. The nickel layer shown is the bonding underlayer named in the brass note above.

Before you ask

The honest print.

Is the patent actually granted?

Not yet — it’s pending approval. We’re building and pre-selling in parallel with the patent process, and we’ll update this page the moment that changes.

When will it ship?

Production begins once the list closes, with an estimated delivery of January 2027. Every piece is hand-inspected before it leaves the studio.

Is shipping included in the price?

No — the prices shown are for the piece itself. Shipping is calculated separately, by region, once the list closes and fulfilment begins, and billed apart from your pledge.

Where do you ship, and who pays duties?

Worldwide via FedEx International Connect Plus. Import duties and taxes (not shipping itself) are pre-paid for the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia and New Zealand. Other regions may owe local customs fees on top of shipping.

Do you use AI anywhere in this project?

Some renders and supporting visuals use AI assistance; the dolphin duality photographs on this page are real, unedited photos. We’ll always tell you which is which.
